The Madison County Master Gardeners are community volunteers who support and engage in projects and activities that will enhance the quality of life for Madison County residents.

What Do Tennessee Extension Master Gardeners Do?
Tennessee Extension Master Gardeners are volunteers who love to garden and help others. We complete a Tennessee Extension Master Gardener Training Program, which is presented by our sponsor, the University of Tennessee Extension Service. Training sessions are held every year in the Fall. Our volunteers donate at least 25 hours a year on Official Master Gardener Projects that enhance the agricultural beauty and quality of living in Madison County. We also complete at least 8 hours of Continuing Education annually.

How to Get Involved...
If you are interested in becoming a TN Extension Master Gardener, please call or email Celeste Scott, Madison County Extension Agent, at 731-668-8543. We are currently in the middle of Master Gardener Training for 2016, and will not begin another session until August 2017.  In the meantime, you are welcome to attend our TN Extension Madison County Master Gardener Meetings held monthly in Jackson.
