NEW Spring Training Option for 2021                                    TN Extension Master Gardener Training                                 

For this FIRST time, we will offer a SPRING training for TN Extension Master Gardeners here in Madison County.  Sessions will be delivered in a hybrid approach with Lectures delivered live via ZOOM on Tuesday mornings 9am-11am, and optional Hands-On Lab activities to be completed as a group or individually.  This portion of the training is flexible and we will make adjustments as needed in consideration of COVID-19 and health concerns.  Once registration is complete, we will discuss out options for these Lab activities as a group.

Gardener's Tool Shed Series 

This program has been suspended for 2020.  We look forward to jumpstarting this program once again in Spring 2021.

Volunteer Development Series 2020                             

TEMG's will have the opportunity to participate in in-depth educational training sessions to further their knowledge in specific subject matter areas.  These sessions will be offered each quarter and will be open to certified TEMGs only.  These classes will equip TEMGs to share their newly gained knowledge with their local program's speakers bureau. Online sessions are now being offered.


Fall Plant Sale

UT Gardens-Jackson & Madison County Master Gardeners

The sale was a Great Success!  We would like to thank all the MCMGs who donated plants for our portion of the fundraiser, and all those who donated their time to make this such a fun event.

The sale has been extended to 2 days in an effort to reduce the number of shoppers at any given time.  The sale is scheduled for Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st from Noon-6pm.  The sale is being hosted at the West TN Research & Education Center 605 Airways Blvd. Jackson, TN 38301 in the back parking lot area.  Only  50 shoppers will be allowed inside the shopping area at a time in support of social distancing efforts and masks will be required for all.  Cash and Checks only please.  For more information click here.
