Office Hours 2023
Join us for Virtual Plant/Question clinics!! A panel of horticulture agents will be answering questions on a variety of issues including topics in Home Fruit & Vegetable Gardening, Ornamental Plants, Trees, and Turf. Submit your questions early for a chance to be featured live during the clinic. All questions that are submitted through the portal will be answered and posted for viewing after the session. These sessions are open to the public, so please share with friends and family!!

TN Smart Yard Workshop 2023
These training sessions have completed. Thank you to all who attended and I look forward to many TNSY Certifications coming in from Madison County and surrounding areas! Stay tuned for more updates on this fun series!!

These sessions will be fun and interactive utilizing the UT Gardens Jackson for hands-on learning. Even if you have participated in TN Smart Yards in the past, there is always new information to be gleaned. Each participant will receive 1 FREE soil sample. Those who attend the in-person workshop AND complete the online portion of the certification training can request a FREE 'Certified TN Smart Yard' Yard sign ($30 value).

MCMG Scholarship 2023
We are now accepting applications for the 2023 Madison County Master Gardener Scholarship! This scholarship is offered annually to graduating seniors who are pursuing higher education in the areas of Agri-Science including Horticulture. This award is sponsored by the local Madison County Master Gardener association in a effort to foster interest in agriculture based careers and to support youth in our community who are pursuing them.
